  • Fixed an issue where an error would occur if you put a history code on the “Invoice” tab with a usage amount, went back to the “Select Dispatch” tab and then tried to go to any other tab. This issue only affected the laptop client.

  • If you tender a payment on mobile with a credit card on the laptop mobile client, the last 4 digits of the credit card will now show on the printed mobile invoice.

  • Added the ability to use ESC invoice templates on the laptop mobile client when printing. 
    Note:  Not all field information that is on the templates in ESC can be seen on the printed mobile invoice. Dispatch information in particular will not print on the mobile version of the invoice.
  • Removed the “Use Receipt Style Printer” option in the Settings | General Settings screen due to now having the ability to use ESC invoice templates. 
  • Fixed an issue where one file was not being distributed in the prior release and it was causing an error when trying to add a new piece of equipment on mobile.

  • Changed layout of the Equipment\History tab on the laptop client.  Both equipment and history sections have changed.
  • Added the ability to add new equipment directly from the laptop client.  When you’re on the Equipment\History tab you’ll see a new button on the toolbar for “Add equipment”.
  • Changed functionality in regards to what equipment gets put on the device when synced.  Here are the new rules:
    • Only equipment that is attached to the dispatch in ESC will be sent to the device.
    • Equipment that is attached to a service agreement is no longer automatically sent however dispatches created from the “Post Schedule to Dispatch” routine that have attached equipment will. 
    • Equipment that is created on the device (using the new Add Equipment feature) will automatically be shown as attached if the tech syncs back.
  • Added a new option in the Equipment\History tab called “Download All Equipment”.  This will allow a tech to get all the equipment that is attached to a customer if they need to.  If a tech synchronizes then they will lose all of the equipment except for the equipment attached to the dispatch.  They can click “Download All Equipment” again if they need to see it.  This option is only on the laptop client.
  • These changes require the installation of the Connections Server v9.1.26 or higher.

  • Added support for alternate parts.
  • Added a pop-up for usage on the Laptop Mobile Client.  When the user enters a history code that tracks usage and tabs out they will get a pop-up so they can input the usage amount.  If the description contains “##” then we will auto-fill the entered usage into the ## signs.  If the user goes in and manually changes the usage (column on the far right) it does not go back and automatically update the description.

  • When looking at the customer’s history on the client, we now automatically expand the “Description” row so you can see all of the information for that particular line. Prior to this update you had to manually expand the row to see all of the data.

  • When looking at the customer’s history on the client, we now automatically expand the “Description” row so you can see all of the information for that particular line. Prior to this update you had to manually expand the row to see all of the data.
  • Added the ability to expand the row when looking at customer history detail information. To expand the row vertically simply use the stylus and click the lower portion of the row you want to expand and drag it to the height that you want it to be.
  • Added code that locks the Tender tab if an invoice type is set to “Quote”. This was already being done in the laptop client.
  • Added code that automatically fills the “Check Date” field with today’s date if a check payment method is used.

  • Added the ability to print mobile invoices as “Work Acknowledged” and have a disclaimer print out.  These options are added into the Connections Server in the Configure ESC Mobile |  Invoice tab.  When the “Print Invoice as Work Acknowledged” box is checked all prices are removed, the invoice number is replaced by the dispatch number and the word “Invoice” is replaced by “Work Acknowledged”.
