Version 9.1 Connections Server Update History

==================
9.1.42 - 6/30/2009 - Current Version
==================

  • We now force a dispatch to be unlocked when synchronizing the mobile clients. This should prevent any dispatches from being locked by the mobile user.

==================
9.1.40 - 5/4/2009
==================

  • SageQuest MC0 integration sending interval reduced to 90 seconds.
  • SageQuest MC0 integration now supports sending customer location name, location phone 1 and the e-mail address.

==================
9.1.38 - 4/10/2009
==================

  • Added an option in the Configure ESC Mobile | General screen called “Don’t Send Attached Invoices”.  This feature gives you the option of sending invoices that are linked to mobile dispatches.   If the checkbox is selected, any invoice line items that are added to the invoice through mobile are automatically appended to the original invoice in ESC when you use the Activities | Import Mobile\Web Invoice feature.

==================
9.1.37 - 3/20/2009
==================

  • When using SageQuest MC02 integration we made vehicle ID errors into warnings.
  • When using SageQuest MC02 integration, if a blank address was used for a dispatch it continually created an error in the log file. We now only show the error once.

==================
9.1.36 - 2/27/2009
==================

  • SageQuest integration – Made a change where if you have a customer that doesn’t have an address, we now display an error only once in the Integration Log saying there was no address.
  • AHS integration – Made a change with date\time stamps for status code updates.
  • Added new, more descriptive messages in the Service Status area of the Connections Server Setup window to show exactly what it’s doing.

==================
9.1.35 - 1/29/2009
==================

  • Fixed an issue where an invoice that was printed in Front Office would show an invoice date of 1/1/0001.
  • Fixed an issue where assemblies on a Front Office invoice were not being sorted properly on the Invoice tab. This was causing the price of the parts assigned to the assembly to appear incorrectly.
  • Fixed an issue where if a Front Office invoice that had tax on it was saved from the Front Office Enter Dispatches screen and then you brought the invoice back up, the tax was removed.

==================
9.1.34 - 1/14/2009
==================

  • Modified the project manifest to force the removal of the keys below during uninstallation.  This will only help future uninstallations.

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\ESC Connections Server
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Eventlog\Application\ESC Connections Server

  • Added a new option in the Connections Server Setup | Configure ESC Mobile | General screen that allows you to set a number of forms that will be sent to the mobile client (Laptop Client ONLY).  If the value in the field is set to “3” then it will take the first three forms in the invoice forms screen (File | Print Options | Forms | Invoice Forms) that would normally go to mobile.

==================
9.1.33 - 1/5/2009
==================

  • Fixed issue where a blank error message could appear in some situations when clicking the Apply button.

==================
9.1.32 - 12/18/2008
==================

  • Added Print Invoice as Work Acknowledged and Disclaimer fields on the Invoice tab in the Configure ESC Mobile screen.  These options only affect the Handheld Mobile Client. When the “Print Invoice as Work Acknowledged” box is checked all prices are removed from invoices printed in the field, the invoice number is replaced by the dispatch number and the word “Invoice” is replaced by “Work Acknowledged”. Anything placed in the disclaimer field will appear at the bottom of any invoice printed on the Handheld Mobile Client.

==================
9.1.31 - 11/13/2008
==================

  • Fixed an issue that happened in rare circumstances when the Connections Server was upgraded. The issue would cause the upgrade to fail because the software thought it was already installed.

==================
9.1.30 - 11/13/2008
==================

  • Fixed an issue where the accounting integration in ESC would be set to None when the Connections Server was upgraded.

==================
9.1.29 - 11/11/2008
==================

  • Tweaked code with the Xora integration that deals with logic that tells the Connections Server which dispatches can be sent to Xora.
  • Implemented security for American Home Shield integration.

==================
9.1.26 - 10/23/2008
==================

  • Made changes to incorporate equipment changes in ESC and mobile laptop client.
  • Removed the option to “Send Unselected Equipment” in Connections Server Setup | Configure ESC Mobile | General tab.
  • The Connections Server will now only send equipment that is attached to the dispatch.

==================
9.1.25 - 10/14/2008
==================

  • Changed the “OK” and “Cancel” buttons to say “Apply” and “Close”.  This will allow you to grab allowed modules (mobile) from the license key without needing to close and re-open the Connections Server Setup window.
  • We now show the actual AR balance in the Front Office Account Manager and tech log in area when integrated with Peachtree.  Prior to this it was only getting the overdue amount.
  • Put in error trapping in the tech area of Front Office where if you are integrated with QuickBooks or Peachtree and the QB\PT Server isn’t running then you’ll receive an error saying that it can’t connect to accounting.

==================
9.1.22 - 9/24/2008
==================

  • Fixed an issue where notes entered on the invoice notes tab of the mobile clients could be lost if a part was not used. Resolved this by forcing a part to be entered before notes can be used.

==================
9.1.21 - 9/11/2008
==================

  • Fixed an issue with the new Silverlight Electronic Dispatch Board (EDB) in Web Front Office that requires changes made in the Connections Server.  The issue was in regards to inserting carriage returns into the invoice notes area of Dispatch Entry in Web Front Office.

==================
9.1.20 - 9/8/2008
==================

  • Fixed an issue where on some machines the Connections Server service would not connect to our Middletier server after a  reboot.
  • Xora integration – Added support for sending a message to Xora’s servers for deleted dispatches in ESC.  If a dispatch is deleted in ESC we now send a message to Xora letting them know of the change so they can update the status on the Xora web site.  In ESC we must now also create a user (like we do with our mobile software) and make sure to associate it to a tech for it to work.  If you don’t create the user and associate it to a tech the integration still works however we won’t send the delete message to Xora.  I also completely rewrote the entire Xora Integration PowerPoint on the FTP site to be better organized and include the new changes that have occurred over the last couple of years.
  • Added support for the Silverlight EDB in Version 9.1 of the Web Front Office.
