Confirm You Are Ready To Upgrade
The following items in have been discontinued in ESC Version 12. Please make sure this will not affect you before upgrading. Please click on the chat link on the left-hand side of the screen if you have any questions about these items.
- Peachtree 2010 or earlier: Version 12 only supports Peachtree 2011 & 2012. The direct connect method has also been retired so you must use the ESC Accounting Server to integrate.
- U.S. QuickBooks 2007 or earlier: This version of ESC only supports United States editions of QuickBooks 2008 or later.
- Canadian QuickBooks 2012 or later: ESC Version 12 is only compatible with Canadian QuickBooks 2012 or later.
- MapPoint 2006 or earlier: Version 12 only integrates with MapPoint 2009 or later.
- Xora Integration: Please look into our mobile web clients. They can do so much more than the Xora clients for about the same price.
- Windows Mobile 6.5 or earlier devices: ESC Version 12 no longer supports devices running these operating systems. We highly recommend upgrading your existing hardware to iPhone/iPad, Android or Phone 7 devices to take advantages of the outstanding new capabilities offered by these clients.
- Web based clients: In ESC Version 12 you will no longer be able to access the mobile web application through a browser. This decision was made so that we could focus on the iPhone/iPad, Android and Phone 7 solutions and offer you things such as GPS integration, driving directions, attaching pictures and signature capture that is not available through a web page. So if you have been using a Blackberry or another phone to access the mobile web, you will need to upgrade to one of these devices.
- Older Mobile Operating Systems: ESC Mobile only supports the following phone/tablet operating systems: Apple iOS 5.1 or later, Android 2.1 or later and Windows Phone 7.1 or later.
