  • The Connections Server now sends over the location name to SageQuest MCO for newly created work orders.  If the location name is changed in ESC it will NOT update the work order in SageQuest nor will it update the name for future work orders.  This is something that we’ll be looking into in the future to see if it’s possible.

  • Fixed an issue in mobile where if you had a dispatch on a mobile device that had attached parts, any additional dispatches that were synced would not have their attached parts. This will only affect dispatches newly synchronized to the mobile after this upgrade is applied.

  • Fixed an issue in mobile where if you tried to create a dispatch on the mobile device for a new customer, an error would occur and you could not create the customer or the dispatch.  The issue was only in the Connections Server.

  • Added the ability to unpost invoices in the QuickBooks integration through FrontOffice.  If you try to modify an invoice that has been posted to Peachtree you will be presented with an error that says you must go into Peachtree and manually remove the invoice and journal entries, just like in ESC.  The Peachtree integration does not allow for automatic removal of invoices\journal entries.
  • Added a “Click here for help” link next to the Connection to ESC Server item.  This link will only appear if there is a problem with that module.  The KB article that this link directs to is: http://kb.desco-soft.com/index.php?action=article&id=645&relid=1

  • Added a new option in the Connections Server called “Don’t send attached parts”.  If this checkbox is enabled, it will not send any attached parts in Dispatch Entry | Parts to mobile.  This new option is located in the ESC Mobile | General tab of the Connections Server.
  • Added a new option in the Connections Server called “Default Invoice Form (PC Client only).  This new feature allows you to choose which default invoice template you want to use on the laptop mobile client.  This new option is located in the ESC Mobile | General tab of the Connections Server.
    Note:  The default template will be set when the device is provisioned and will only apply to newly synced dispatches after the provision occurs.

  1. Added the version of the Connections Server to the top of the Connections Server Administrator window like it was in Version 9.1.
  2. Added back in the “Don’t send attached invoices” option in the ESC Mobile area of the Connections Server.
  3. Fixed an issue in WFO where the dispatch board properties were not being applied correctly in Silverlight “Dispatch” view of the web EDB. You will have to go to File | Configure Front Office Application then just click OK for the settings to re-upload. The updated settings should upload within 5 minutes.
